Our Story
Built by a Parent, for Parents.
Doodle Me is the convergence of 13 years of parenthood, six years of production expertise, and a lifelong passion for character design — all in service of one radical idea: your child should be the hero.
The Founder
The 13-Year Journey
Since 2012, my life has been built around one thing: children — every single day. As a parent of four — aged 12, 9, 6, and 4 — I have personally lived through every stage of childhood wonder, frustration, joy, and growth.
I've seen the toys cycle in and out of favour. I've tracked the obsessions: dinosaurs, slime, superheroes, gaming characters, anime, and everything in between. I know the way a child's eyes light up when they see something that feels like it was made just for them. And I know the quiet heartbreak when your child looks at a piece of branded merchandise and says, “I wish that was me.”
“I don’t just understand the market. I am the market — and I wake up inside it every single morning.”
The Realisation
We’ve Been Celebrating the Wrong Hero
For six years I ran an apparel decorating business, and week after week the pattern was the same. Parents would walk in holding pictures of Pokémon, Marvel characters, or Disney princesses — asking to add their child’s name beside the character in small print.
The corporate character was always the star. The child’s name was a supporting detail. The child was a fan. The character was the hero.
“We have spent over a decade helping our children celebrate The Brand — when all along, we should have been celebrating The Child.”
As an illustrator and formally trained 3D animator, I understood something powerful: the best characters are never just designs — they are emotional mirrors. Children don’t just admire animated heroes, they project themselves into them. So I asked the question I couldn’t stop asking:
“Why aren’t we using all this creative power to celebrate real kids? Why are the heroes always fictional?”
Our Purpose
A Kid Identity Company
Doodle Me is not a merchandise brand. We are a kid identity company. We use high-end, custom illustration to transform your child's actual likeness — their face, their energy, their personality — into a fully realized hero persona.
We are deliberately walking away from the “character-with-a-name” model that has dominated the kids’ apparel space for decades. That model keeps the child in a passive role — a consumer of someone else’s narrative. Doodle Me reverses that entirely.
We aren’t making shirts. We are making origin stories.
The Four Personas
Every Child Has a Hero Inside
All-Star
The athlete, the competitor, the champion in motion.
Royal
The dignified leader, born to command respect.
Guardian
The protector, the defender, courageous and bold.
Explorer
The adventurer, the curious mind that sees the world.
Regardless of which persona a child chooses, the result is the same: they are finally, unambiguously, the hero of the story.
2026
Wear who you are. Tell your story.
When you choose Doodle Me, you are making a statement about your child’s worth and their narrative. We go to infinity and beyond in 2026.
“But this time, your kid is the one in the suit.”
